Our Story
The idea of Adams’ Rib & Grille came while owner and founder Tobin L. Adams Sr. was recovering from foot surgery. While confined to the comfort of his home, watching episode after episode of TLC’s BBQ Pitmasters the fascination with BBQ began. Once firefighter turned carpenter, it was inevitable that perfecting the art of slow smoke BBQ was in his future.
Adams’ Rib & Grille, like most things, started out as a hobby. With food enjoyed by family and friends at cookouts, fraternity events, and church gathering, Adams Sr. quickly earned the title of ‘Pitmaster.’ The positive feedback sparked Adams Sr. to begin the construction of his first mobile kitchen. While still mastering the art of slow smoke BBQ through trail & error, and countless hours spent beside the smoker, Adams Sr. created his authentic dry rub for beef, pork and chicken.
After mastering his authentic rub with the help of his brother they began the construction of a 300+ pound smoker that is a masterpiece.
So as you enjoy the dinning options from Adams’ Rib & Grille, please know that it is filled with love and joy from our family’s kitchen to your heart!
